ITINERARY
Note:

Day 1: Hanoi - BaBe Lake (L,
D)
You will be welcomed by our guide in Hanoi
where we transfer you with a comfortable
vehicle towards Ba Be Lake. This beautiful lake is famous because of its
crystalline water situated in the middle of some villages of authentic hill
tribes. We have lunch in a local restaurant in
Bac Can Town
.
In the afternoon we will continue our way up to Ba Be where we spend the night
in a local guest-house.
Day 2: BaBe, Boat Trip
(B, L, D)
After breakfast in our guest-house, we come
aboard from a little boat which leads us through the Ba Be Lake. After breakfast

. This National Park offers sublime serenity
and rest. The mountains are covered with thick lush vegetation in which wild
monkeys and amazingly designed bird nests can be found. We continue our cruise
towards the Dau Dang Waterfall and the spectacular Puong Grotto, inhabited by
thousands of bats. After this interesting visit we make a small promenade
towards the villages of the
Tay and Dzao minorities. It will enable us to
understand how primary and self-sufficient life is from their point of view. It
is like going back into the middle- ages. We have dinner and spend the night in
the houses of the native people, which will be without a doubt an experience for
life. Be prepared that the living conditions are different from the ones you are
accustomed to at home. However, mattresses, blankets and mosquito-nets are
present for you.
Day 3: Ba Be - Cao Bang (B, L, D)
 We
leave BaBe by a fantastic mountainous road, leading us along scattering high
limestone formations and heavily forested hills. This road used to be the
strategic road of the Viet Minh Revolution Force in the 1950s, because it helped
Viet Minh to control the large area in the North East during the French
Indochina War. We pass the frontier regions near China as we bring a visit to
the Pac Po Grotto, Ho Chi Minh's Former Base during 1930. Here we will learn
more about this all-time hero of Vietnam and his long struggle for liberation of
the country against the Colonial Force. We spend the night in a hotel in Cao
Bang.
Day 4: Cao Bang - Ban Gioc Waterfall (B, L,
D)
 After
breakfast, be ready for driving to Cao Bang. Cao Bang is
famous for its graceful mountains, grottoes and streams.
This afternoon we take you to the most beautiful
waterfall of
Vietnam
, the Ban Gioc Waterfall, situated right at the Chinese
border. After this magical visit we return to Cao Bang
where we will spend the night at our hotel.
Day 5: Cao Bang - Lang Son (B, L, D)
Today we go back in time. We go back to Indochina
by driving the famous Colonial Road No. 4,
where we pass villages like Dong Khe and That Khe. This place is famous because of its
countless bloody fights during the 1950s between Viet Minh and the French Force.
These happenings were the precursor of the Dien Bien Phu
defeating in 1954. In the dark afternoon, we
arrive in
Lang
Son
City
and discover the Central Market. This market
offers divers Chinese products as Lang Son is the trade-gateway between China
and Vietnam
. Before we check-in in our hotel in Lang Son
we bring an interesting visit to the Tam Thanh and Nhi Thanh Grottos.
Day 06: Lang Son - Halong (B, L)
 We drive
Halong
Bay through the beautiful landscapes of the
countryside to witness people life, we stop at Con Son
pagoda, a historical and cultural place of Vietnamese
then continue your drive to
Halong Bay
. You get on boat then have lunch with fresh seafood
when cruising slowly in the bay to view amazing rocky
islets. After lunch you will visit 'œsurprising
cave'-one of the largest and most beautiful ones in
Halong and called cave of legends. You also have
opportunity to view the whole panorama of the bay as you
climb up
Titop
Island
or swim on its love sandy beach. The rest of
the day you are at leisure, dinner with nice food and
the night on boat in a dream-like environment.
Day 07: Halong- Hanoi (B, L)
Nothing to be more beautiful than viewing the
sunrise from the sea in the early morning before your nice swim and breakfast,
we then cruise to see more islets, fishing villages, caves. Back to Halong City
and get your car to TuanChau Resort for a nice lunch, back to Hanoi at about 4
pm
