ITINERARY
Note:
We recommend that you start on Monday as we arrange.
Day 1: Mon, Arrival in Hanoi (D)
Warmly welcomed at the airport, transferred to your hotel,
we will arrange an itinerary for you depending on your
flight-city tour, water puppet show, walking tour to the
old trading streets then a "Complimentary Dinner" in one
of the city's leading restaurants. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 2: Tue. City Tour of
Hanoi
(B, L)
On this insightful day through Ha Noi's
busy tree lined boulevards, you'll explore such
interesting and historic sites as The Ho Chi Minh
Mausoleum, his stilt house, Presidential Palace,
Temple
of
Literature
. In the afternoon we spend 3 hour walking tour to the
historic 36 streets of the Old Quarter for shopping and
taking pictures. In the late afternoon we enjoy one hour
water puppet show then dinner before catching the night
train to Sapa. Your sleeping berth has 4 beds and
air-con.
Day 3: Wed, Sapa Soft Trek and
Home-stay (B, L, D)
Pick up at LaoCai Train station then
board the Bus or Van for 50 minutes drive up the
stunning mountain range sculpted with tiered rice
terraces to the town of
Sa
Pa nestled at 1632 meters. Lots of sight seeing en route.
After checking in your hotel you'll have free time to
explore the town and its great market. After lunch,
you'll take a 3 hour easy trek down the stunning valley
to Ta Van Village (Dzay hill tribe). Homestay in
Tavan
Village
of the Dzay.
Day 4: Thu, Sapa Trekking (B, L, D)
Waken up by the sound of the spring
near by and the sounds of the village, after breakfast
prepared by your guide we then start A good day trekking
with visits to local villages especially getting to see
the colorful Dzao hill tribe, through a bamboo forest,
rice terraces, beautiful green valley. Picnic lunch by
the stream. Overnight in Ban Ho Village of the
Tay
hill-tribe familyy
Day 5: Fri, Sapa Exploration (B)
Short trek to the dirt road for the
jeep ride back to Sapa. Check into your
hotel. In the afternoon you explore
Sapa
Town
and visit Hamrong Dragon raw to view the town,
Fanxipan
Peak
from the top of this mountain you also enjoy orchid,
flower garden, traditional music performance. Overnight
in Sapa.
Day 6: Sat, BacHa - CanCau
(B, L, D)
Depart early in the morning for CanCau
Market which is close to China Border and home to many
ethnic minorities such as Flower H'mong, Nung, Dzao who
come down from mountainous and isolated villages taking
along horses, buffaloes, dogs, cats, chickens,
embroideries...for sales and you will be impressed by
their
colorful clothes and lifestyles. Jeep back to Bac Ha,
check in hotel, in the afternoon you walk to Thai Giang
Pho Village of the Flower H'mong to meet people, lovely
kids at school, trek through beautiful plump gardens on
the side of the highest mountain in BacHa before
visiting to the H'mong King Palace. Overnight in hotel
Day 7: Sun, Colorful Market (B, L, DD
Waken up by the footsteps of people
walking to the market then you will be more surprised to
enter the market. The whole market looks colorful like a
flower garden and it is getting bigger and bigger, more
and more interesting as you see what they trade in the
market. After the market you have lunch, then drive to
Chay
River
for a three hour boat trip upstream to see beautiful
landscapes and some ethnic villages before being
transferred to LaoCai for the night train back to
Hanoii
.
Day 8: Mon, Free Day.
Arrive in Hanoi 5.30 am . Check in the
hotel. You'll welcome this free day to
relax and recover from you journey north. Lots of time
to explore more of Hanoi and pick up some of those last
minute souvenirs. Overnight in hotel
Day 9: Tue, CatBa Island- Kayak (B, L,
D))
Leave Ha Noi for Hai Phong (
5:30AM ), stop in Hai Phong for breakfast
before boarding the express boat to Cat Ba Island
(08.20). Arrive in Cat Ba at 10.00. Check in hotel
before taking a private boat to explore
LanHa
Bay
with fishing/ floating villages, nice lunch with fresh
seafood, and it will be more interesting when kayaking
to explore nice sandy beaches, caves. Cruise back to
hotel in
CatBa
Islandd
for the night.
Day 10: Wed, Halong Bay-
Hanoi (B, L)
Private boat takes you from CatBa
island to Halong Bay, cruising through fishing villages,
sandy beaches, thousands of amazing islets in the bay in
shapes of dragon, fog, turtl...you also visit Surprising
cave-one of the largest and most beautiful ones in
Halong. Nice lunch on boat.
Car back to
Hanoi
, stop at Dong Trieu Ceramic Factory for visiting.
Overnight in
Hanoi
.
Day 11: Thu, Leaving (B)
You will be free until we take you to the airport for your
flight.
Good journey home!
